New England Tuberculosis Consortium
The six New England TB Programs work together to promote a regional approach to TB control and elimination. The New England TB Consortium helps promote team leadership, collaboration, exchange of experiences, and strengthening program capacity.
Reaching the Goal of TB Elimination
Regional collaborations provide a framework for strengthening TB programs by establishing common goals and objectives. Our regional TB plan supports five key goals (effective communication, expanded training and education, enhanced case-finding, consultation and program evaluation) and five key activities (collaboration, policy development, surveillance using molecular genotyping, cohort reviews and research) that guide our common activities.
